With a previous competition under our belt we were able to go to the Nationals a bit more prepared. It was at the same venue in Dunedin on Saturday 15th September. There was however a lot more competition to deal with.
Our soccer team of Pearce and Jackson did well right from the onset, direction finding the soccer ball and moving towards it. We scored plenty of goals but we did manage many of those at our own goal which was pretty funny.
Line following teams were also entered with Minnie and Tigne each entering a robot. Tigne did have his working very well in practice but didn’t quite get there on competition day. The great thing with the experience was that their coding knowledge with light sensors was greatly improved.
